Level-1
This is created by me. This puzzle is a part of a game.
Rules of the game-
1- If a player plays a card of a particular suit, everybody has to play the same suit. If any player does not have the card of the same suit, he can play any other card.
2- There is a trump suit, which is decided by the highest bidder at the start of the game
3- In each hand (one card played by each of the 4 players), the hand goes to the player who played the biggest card of the suit that was played by the first player. If any player plays a card of the trump suit, then the hand belongs to that player.
4- A trump card can be played only when the player does not have any card of the suit which the first player has played.
5- If two players play the trump suit, then the higher card wins the hand.
6- After each hand is played, the next hand is started by the winner of the previous hand.
Following is the scenario currently
Giga
1- Jack of Spades
2- 8 of Spades
3- 7 of Spades
4- 8 of Hearts
Soda
1- Queen of Hearts
2- 9 of Spades
3- Q of Spades
4- Ace of Diamonds
Dave
1- King of Clubs
2- King of Spades
3- 10 of Spades
4- King of Diamonds
Kerry
1- 8 of Clubs
2- Jack of Diamonds
3- 9 of Hearts
4- Queen of Diamonds
Card Information- Highest to Lowest
1- Jack- 3 points
2- 9- 2 points
3- Ace- 1 point
4- 10- 1 point
5- King- 0 point
6- Queen- 0 point
7- 7- 0 point
8- 8- 0 point
Therefore, Jack is the highest card, and 8 is the lowest.
For example-
If Giga plays Jack of spades, and every other player plays cards of spades, then the hand will go to Giga and all the points in the hand will belong to Giga
In the given scenario
Giga and Dave are a team, and Soda and Kerry are a team. Therefore, the points of a team will be added together in the end.
Clubs is the trump.
What is the maximum number of points that Giga and Dave can make out of this game, and what sequence of cards they need to play, given that the first hand will be played by Giga and that in this particular scenario, all of them know the cards of all the players.
More puzzles will follow after this one is solved.
