change/adjust the strategy guides in all setups. I'm always turned off by how messy the strategy section in all setups is. There's also the fact that the most popular setups around have existed for so long and pretty much all players ranging from intermediate all the way up have figured them out. There's just no arguing about the ultimate strategy in most setups we witness in competitive.
That's why we should do our best to reorganize the guides and everything for the sake of new players. The ones who are actually willing to read up on how to play better.
And I've also been thinking about forming a "Setup Testing Committee" The purpose of this would be to promote new setups into the scene while keeping a standard. Anyone would be free to submit their setup for testing and potentially getting it into competitive and stuff.
I'm sure those all sound like great ideas and really I'm ready to make all these efforts but I'd like you guys to show support. Please don't tell me this site is for circlejerking only and not for mafia enthusiasts anymore...
with the committee thing or do you mean writing guides? you can write as many guides as you want for any setup at any time. i just thought i'd point to the importance of having those things be neat and always up-to-date with the current meta.
Saying something we all (or atleast most of us) enjoy is going downhill and thus we should not make an effort into improving it is such an awful statement
You're trying to improve a site thats going downhill and will probably crash in 5 years, its not worth it when only 30000 unique people play a month. I gave up 2 years ago!

Satan is a harodihg 2.0 but just doesn't know it yet
Alright! Since 100% people support this plan, I'll begin constructing strategy guides for as much setups as I can. I'll be detailed as possible with a specific format. As for the committee project, I think if we come up to the mods about it they might make it a real thing. I need fellow players who are up to the task of judging setups, and probably creating their own as well. Making a family for committees just so you guys keep up to date who your colleagues are. I'll be posting a special thread about the committee soon.
In the meantime, if you're looking to start the committee project with me from scratch, pm me with your mindset and views.
