Where the heck did the setup trolling violation go on rules page?
And I comped the setup mid round because it won't get played much and the mods still expected me to comp a setup for some reason. Also I completely deserve a setup trolling violation for comping AHD, I was aware of the rule when I comped the setup lmao.
You need to read setup trolling to the rules page so you can give it to me lmao.
Also, a runner can historically comp a setup after round start if he asks a mod first.
if you have a team of 16 mods, you expect at least 5 mods to be online at 00:00 EST.
Moreover, people should just know the rules. And it is the job of the mods to make the announcements regarding the setups. New trophy winners do not know the rules.
allowing trophy winners to "Troll" the setups until the very lsat minute is stupid, because....
let's think, mods go to sleep, if you have troll setups up until 11:58 and then you put your real setups just before the round starts mods can't discuss whether it should be allowed or not
@devante- nope, that isnt enough. You will be demodded after some time and no one will remember to do this. You guys need to make a thread about this in the mod forums so every mod goes through it in their induction.
ok i'll make sure to remember to pm every trophy winner of every round to not do something that should be common sense (coming a setup that obviously shouldn't be comped) especially ones that have been on the site for 3+ years.
@devante- it was the job of the mods to warn the trophy runners/remind them of the rule. But all I saw was the mods trolling the forums. Can't blame them as they didn't know the rules themselves.
too bad this time he comped a setup that was a pointfarm after the round started, then a bunch of games had to be refunded since no mod was on to remove it. Then 8 days into the round he comped another banned setup.
