the round would normally end without a round pause, meaning the time window that people used to play the heart wouldn't have existed. it also is unfair to people who do not anticipate a pause and thus "have" to use their heart that day.

Also this rule of not being allowed to play after round is paused is unfair and didn't exist initially. Many people will not play if they think round is over.
