yeah, basically a good fool is gonna get 50 extra points each time he rolls it

Is that because of the potential payout by just playing?

the "ideal" game needs to be slightly scumsided and minesweeper is "slightly" scumsided sooooooo

Isn't the "ideal" mafia game something that essentially isn't easily solvable without readings and scumhunting but also has a low enough possible permutations of outcome that one can still judge players' actions and alignments based on how the game is playing out?
I feel like Fancy Pants just doesn't have enough depth and can essentially be played 'perfectly' and comes down to RNG and coin toss when played by the top players here.
I also believe SITD will be easily solvable in most situations and as a result will rely more on some pretty simplistic problem solving rather than scumhunting.
Then on the flipside that Ghilly set up seems like it's so entirely scum hunting and and doesn't have much real critical thinking to it.
I've played these set ups a few times, far less than most seasoned players I'm sure and maybe I'm way off but these set ups seem far less 'competitive' than Jan2.0 from the last round. Am I wrong?
all of the serious players are gonna run on gallis hunter, i doubt anything else will see much light

Ok I'm back now. Don't stop throwing insults at me now, poser!
I can also confirm having played with ling in DotA that he is indeed barely classifiable as human let alone functioning.

it's impossible to make a "balanced" competitive shot in the dark, it's usually scumsided if you try to make mafia have the advantage. but realistically with whispers, unless you have OP mafia, it's gonna lean townsided in a table full of people who are smarter than skillz. that happens 100% of the time because nobody is as dumb as he is
