When you Suggest Roles... Can they be picked to be like official roles that can be played in ranked games?

Who picks them and what determines if they get picked or not? Does upvoting have to do with anthing

Upvoting doesn't have to do with anything, there are many suggested roles and sadly almost none of them get chosen really, there was a thread in sandbox that lucid/admin noticed and made roles, but other than that there's no real way of getting your role to be official.
