Say you had to give a persuasive speech on Citizens United vs The Federal Election Committee, and you were arguing against the Supreme Court's decision. You have to bring in a physical artifact to use as a visual as a large part of your grade. Short of passing out dolla dolla bills yall, what do you bring?

Maybe bring in a copy of the legislation that was made. Like find the original bill that went through the supreme court, and then add tea stains to it to make it look old, maybe add a frame to it or something. Make it look legit as and pass it around. Give it a fancy font or something too. Just an idea. Thats what I would do.

I would be citing scientific studies on the damage the case has done, but my joke of a first year professor has decided that I need to dumb my speech down and use less legal terminology.

I'm going to break her on Rate My Professor, but for now I have to listen to her.

I have no idea what you just said tbh. Is this American stuff? lmfao

Yeah, it's an American Supreme Court ruling that allows unlimited spending on elections, which effectively killed our democracy and created the plutocracy we enjoy today.

Literally can't think of anything to use as my artifact short of bringing in a stack of money and giving it away for free.
