you do not have to have downloaded the album for it to count. that makes this thread more versatile.

9/10 champegne supernova is still a really good song and their sound was way more melodically focused than on their first album, which was their greatest weakness. also it's good.
wrong, scenic world is; elephant gun and postcards from italy come second
also gulag orkestar has a bit too many stereotypical beirut-songs, but it's still quite good. (and at least it isn't no no no which has like, 2 songs that i actually remember)

postcards from italy is the best song from that album
i don't think it's necessarily bad, it's just sort of elevator music-y. it feels like a lot of the songs are more "let's just see what happens" than coherent pieces. it's not bad but not my thing.
the only song i've listened to off of gulag orkestar was postcards from italy because i'm a casual, but i always thought it was supposed to be a great album

8/10 i liked how dark it was and it had a pseudo-gothic feel to it. like modern the cure.
3/10 "well since i listened to one disappointing pop-punk album maybe i should try listening to another and hope for the best" what a friggin idiot i was.........
This song was one I'd yet to have heard prior to stumbling upon this set. Her voice is so powerful, and I especially like what she does with the loop pedal and megaphone.
