The r-slur is literally removed from the technical name of the medical condition because it was too offensive to label people as it due to it's use as a slur. Lmfao.

Crooks says mentally handicap people are offended by the r word. just like black people are offended by the n word. it's not a hard concept to understand. I personally don't report people for saying the r word. But, I can understand why people can be offended by it. They may have friends or family that is mentally handicapped or were bullied because of it. But to me, the word doesn't carry much weight.
