So over the past few months that I have been playing Epic Mafia, I have realized that we are all so negative. We constantly try to bring someone down if they mishammer (I myself have done this), instead of trying to help the player grow. We all have had opportunities to bond over a common interest of a game, yet we mock how we each of us looks in picspls. We hate players that are better than us, because we can't stand the fact of losing to someone WHILE we should be trying to learn how to get better we miss an opportunity due to pride. I think this whole website would be much more cohesive, fun, and far less dramatic if we tried to make it more about playing the game and becoming a stronger player than filling it with nonsense gossip left and right. I have been guilty of many of these things, but I feel like it's time for a positive change that will make this website far less stressful and way more fun! Anyways I may sound like an idealist, but I just want to plant the idea in your mind that next time a player makes a really obvious mistake instead of lashing out try to help them learn why what they did was wrong. If you see a picture of someone you don't deem attractive, just keep it to yourself we don't need to all know what you are thinking. If you think the mod team is bad, don't just sit there and complain either apply to be one or try to logically talk it through with some of the mod team THEY AREN'T EVIL.When someone comes to youth gossip, don't spread it end the chain there do not give a reaction as that is that will make the gossip spread even more. Anyways this is just a rant that will probably make no difference BUT atlas I tried! Good luck in yee gaming exploits!

i trash talk sims because me and him have been going at it for way longer than 2 months, he just calmed down on it from his side since he became admin so i could look like the bad guy.
you on the other hand have been the spawn of toxicity on the entire forums for awhile. you've even been bringing it to me lately when i've done nothing to you. when you want to be a ****, at least have a reason for it. you should chill.
frankly i'd rather a bunch of cranky belligerent c than a lot of kids patting themselves on the back and trying to be cute or something

There's a definite undercurrent of negativity on the forums. It's just not as on the surface as it once was, and it will eventually boil up and over again. That's the cycle. Also forums are in general, toxic environments.
As for why people are negative or toxic, I don't know. I don't spend a lot of time trying to figure out cop outs for why I or other people are jerks. Just own it.

but why are the forums, filled with 70% of people who barely (or don't at all) play mafia competitively, so negative then? are you competing for e size?
I don't know, EM isn't much more negative than many other internet communities... You're going to encounter rude people everywhere and that's hardly going to change. Particularly in online gaming, lol, bashing people when they make mistakes happens more often than not; people say bad things in affect. The competitive aspect of mafia makes people rage because losing is :C and I guess winning at EM gains you community respect which is important to some players that are integrated into it.
I liked your recent jaunt into Sandbox though. It was funny watching them cry about you 'ruining threads' when your posts were by far the best ones in them.
