I am currently reading Atlas Shrugged, because it is probably a thing that is worthy of being read, even if I do not necessarily agree with AAAAAALL of the author's philosophical views (most, but not all; Ayn Rand kind of happened in the past which, like, excuses it.)
You should probably specify what type of books you would be interested in reading if you really want recs.

catch 22 developed a lot of my sense of humor when i was a kid. i still have a great time reading it
My friends making me read the sam walton biography which is pretty good
i've been re reading carl hiaasen before sleep and hes a really good author if you like stuff thats funny and light hearted, his stuff is usually involving jounralism and the environment
