Even Sims doesn't have access to the IP addresses of users. The most he can see is which accounts are linked by IP.

If I wanted to get the mod's IP, there are way easier ways to go about it.

For example, I just resolved Value's IP via Skype.

What do you mean? it renders as an image, there's no need for it to be broken, it's a 1 pixel transparent gif in the end.

anyway i'd probably be arguing that these are somewhat potentially harmful due to some specifics would leave some like me pretty vulnerable

e.g. find the IP with a location in the north east of scotland and you've got mine

but i have a scrambler so it's OK for me
