if a hidden link is a link that says one thing but leads somewhere else, then aren't misleading thread titles, which are links that say one thing but lead somewhere else, hidden links?

when will moderators start doing their job and banning everyone who makes chess threads

you're missing the "link" part of "hidden link"

the rule was actually made for misleading links, NOT exploit abuse (also javascript in links, the most common exploit referred to hidden links, were still links)
