what are dreams

are dreams something that can't happen in reality?

if i can only be happy in dreams does that mean it isn't possible in reality to be happy?

Dreams are massive unconscious processing and, essentially, the basis of all actual thought. We don't actually think in words primarily. Instead, we think it patterns. And most people don't realise this, and so in comes unrealised bias (for example, an adopted child, who feels as if their adoptive parents don't want them, might be against something like letting foreigners into their country, for that is the remedy for their circumstances - fits the pattern). That's what dreams are. The movie Serpico gives us a good example of this, I think, where Serpico comes home aggravated with corruption in the police department, then gets cross with his girlfriend over their house being disorderly. And there are other examples people have painted, but I guess it's just something you'll have to figure for yourself. Dreams are a manifestation of indefinite, basically, but still feeling it out. People who have lived harder lives will have less fantastic dreams and imagination because reality is more pressing for them. And so on. Hard to really present a decisive picture of what dreams are. They're dreams.

I'm going to sleep to have some dreams, lilin. Maybe I'll tell you in the morning.
