I mean I'll admit that part of it is that I'm pretty bad at it, but the N1 reports also influence the game way too much for my taste. It feels really luck based sometimes, and getting N1'd is stupid. Dawn start setups 4 Lyfe.

disagreed. godfather can always cc a blue claim, and if the cop is smart and just looks to see which of the doc claims looks to be more of a partner with the remaining nilla and hammers based on that, mafia have to spend the majority of d1 faking interactions
not actually. it works much better for me if the doc is alive for the 5 way lylo. Gives godfather a cc and cop finds it hard to find the real doc if the godfather makes sure to soft on day1 or play like doc. To play as maf you need to work hard and take care of the small things.
just check how i play BV as mafia. I think i won all of them this round. Step1- try to kill pr n1 using the method i have discussed already. Step2- if you fail, find out doc on day1 and try to blitz on it. Step3- if you still fail, try and make town think only one of you and your partner can be scum step4- if you go to lylo with 2 mafs, try and force nl. If you do good, you win. No big deal. You can't expect to win as mafia by just chilling in the game.
The n1 report is way more beneficial to town than people think, two live reports with cop and doc alive is essentially town autowin unless mafia do an excellent job distancing
