Back in January I put that I didn't register for selective service because I'm Muhammad Ali and I conscientiously object to the draft due to my commitment to Islam. Anyway turns out I actually did register for selective service over a year ago. FAFSA claims that I can edit anything but my SSN but there does not seem to be an avenue to do so. No one I know knows how to fix it, kind of freaking out and would appreciate some help.

What kinds of changes can I make to my FAFSA® once it’s been processed? Corrections: If You Made a Mistake If you made a mistake in what you reported on the FAFSA, you’ll need to make a correction.

Note: The online FAFSA doesn’t allow you to change your Social Security number (SSN). If you made a mistake in reporting your SSN, ask the financial aid office at the school you plan to attend whether you should start over again and submit a new FAFSA.

Typically, the federal bureaucracy hydra of the United States of screwing university students in the butt suggests that I fix this problem by fixing it. Please answer this question, I'll be watching :3

If I remember correctly, registering for the selective service is a requirement to receive financial aid or something like that. I remember being pissed about joining it too
