it's weird, there was absolutely zero literature and scholarly debate on gender issues, sexism, et al. until tumblr was registered as a domain on the internet

Well I'm sure the difference in those debates would be that functioning adults with a grip on society were debating such issues instead of teenagers on the computer

and no adult has ever questioned the gender issues in western society or written at great length about them nor has this ever undergone peer review.
