Must Lynch/Must Act

about 10 years

Make forcing NL or No action for must lynch and must act respectively punishable by violation. It's an in-game exploit abuse and shouldn't be allowed, if they are allowed to be exploited then why do the game types even exist?

In Game Exploit Abuse should be made a rule for things like this, and things like Gov glitch etc. because Gamethrowing is kind of harsh for it.

One would be warning
Two would be 24 hour game suspension
Three would be Lobby Ban

Expires in 6 months

Is this a good idea? If not, do you agree that exploiting Must Lynch and Must Act should be punishable?

Just flinging around ideas as they come into my head, only honesty is appreciated, thank you

(POST CONTINUED)

I don't really get your point. Mafia being able to force NK in Must Act shouldn't be allowed, since they can just blitz the next day when town gets forced to lynch (happens in LOBK for example), same as Town being able to force NL in Must Lynch. Mind as well remove the options when creating setups if it's allowed, since the option was clearly created to not allow NLs/no actions...

I don't mean to sound rude again I'm just debating as all

I don't mean to sound arrogant or rude just in case this post just came out that way

Town wants to force a no lynch in a must lynch setup to avoid mylo/force gov actions. I think it's fine

It's the idea that town is getting pushed to win based on the mechanics of the roles.

Gov can't OT on a forced NL lol

And then why does Must Lynch even exist? Mind as well turn it off and not use it at all

I was tired and typed that wrong. The must lynch requirement is there to help town get advantage in the mechanics of their roles.

CnS is forcing gov to OT lynches,

Governor can pick the person that is already being voted if they don't want to OT on Must Act.

SMGS forces the amn to align with whomever gets lynched d1,

That's one setup; it doesn't mean that it's how the game option should be so that that one setup is accommodated by it

LobL is there for the name,

How does this relate to how I believe the game option should be moderated/enforced?

setups with Yak will use forced night kills so maf can't Wifom

Again, how does this relate to what I'm arguing for? Mafia can still force NK, and if someone wants to force the yaks to yak out Night 1, they can do that already with the game option. If they don't, then they don't need to have the game option in their setup

If people want to use mechanics to force nl in mylo I would be perfectly fine with it. If mafia force a mylo, it's probably because they abused mechanics themselves.

The only way mafia can force mylo is by taking advantage of meteor which is in every game regardless of must lynch or must act being present.

My poll is unironically embarrassing because it's really unclear and I was too lazy to fix it, please ignore it
