Do you think you're a good mod?

I treat myself as expendable and no better than anyone else. Always have, always will. I don't like making moderating some sort of personal achievement when most of my reason for continuing to mod is simply because I like to help. I have no other ulterior motive other than wanting to make sure the site is stable and putting in an effort to keep complaints down to a minimum.

I absolutely think they should. I really think mods should be leading the helm towards progressive change for the better for the website and ensuring that everything is stable, which doesn't always include reports. I can understand however how some people opt to just be report machines with no facet of a personality because it is hard to represent yourself as most mods aren't taken seriously because there is no reason for them to be. It's not that mods should be report bots, it's that it has become the standard.

Tie between Bumpers and Laexio, in which the former I basically molded my style of modding around along with issues that actually relate to PR, which as somewhat of a continuation I feel that this team is lacking, sometimes.

I have no favoritism towards anyone as I believe that modding is actually quite easy and shouldn't be as overblown as people make it out to be. You can easily skate along and be an average mod doing reports and saying nothing, but I think the better(?) mods I've encountered are ones that present themselves in such a way that shows that they are more than glorified janitors.

In reality I actually want to use this thread to share my perspective on modding and what I've learned from it, but I don't think anyone would read it unless I made it a mindless AMA
