Classic Mafia is a setup that is like a push lawn mower with blades powered by your own muscle. Fancy Pants is like a riding lawn mower. Before you argue against me, hear me out.

In classic mafia, you have a clear chance rather you are mafia or village, with only a small amount of games where you get bad luck because the cop died, but, village still has as much a chance as mafia. In class mafia, you can use trick tactics as both a village and a mafia, in order to get the mental edge over more ignorant opponents and it makes village learn a lot faster.

In fancy pants, there is a statistical illusion created. Some games are blatantly village sided while others are blatantly mafia sided with no in between. Games with orc and bomb are village sided while games with doc and gunsmith are actually both mafia sided because mafia gets to kill two people before village cop outs. You can "try" to use a different strategy, but, saying that you can is just an excuse for your mistakes which you would like an excuse for because you find it hard to take responsibility for your own actions in both games on the internet and in real life.

What I am trying to say is that fancy pants is more a flip of the coin while classic mafia is an arm wrestling contest of the minds. Fancy pants is more of a win/loss balancer then it is an actual setup, as you are for sure going to win and lose an equal number of times in fancy pants, but, you will win more if you are more clever in classic mafia. The only reason anybody wins more then they lose in fancy pants is because either they have a fan club or they use skype.

Lucid doesn't care who uses skype because all his admins would be banned by now. This is the truth so if you like fancy pants, you might as well admin that you also like a good ol game of heads or tails.
