there's a difference between having an opinion, and being forceful / militant about it. i think the "sjw" label fits perfectly for the latter case. and being that way is lame.
I don't identify as a SJW. Because the term SJW was created by ignorant people as an attempt to undermine the work that people who believe in social justice and equality do on social networks in order to gain attention to things that people are commonly ignorant of. SJW shouldn't even be a term in the first place. I identify as someone who believes that there is inequality and institutionalised racism engrained in society and it definitely needs the shock factor and exaggeration that "SJW" give it in order for people to take notice.
some people try to reclaim it. which is all sorts of meta

sjw is an insult made by riddlers. that's like saying "people who identify as morons are immature".

People that you call "Social Justice Warriors" are really just trying to bring light to issues that are unacknowledged in society, or show, yes sometimes using hyperbole or exaggeration, the inequality in society for gender, race, sexuality etc. Must be a real pain for you guys to have to be confronted with issues that don't affect you... as long as you're happy, right?
Politically charged teenagers creating a false identity based on what they read on the internet

Agreed, 100% of people who are annoyed with Internet blowhards actually disagree with the things they are saying and do not respect public intellectuals who say the same things.
