Account switching mechanics

A brief question: every time I switch from my main to my alt I get put into the sandbox lobby on my alt. Is there a setting that specifies a "default lobby" for each account? I want to stay in the main lobby (or whichever lobby I'm currently in) when I switch to an alt that is joined to my account.

Or enter a game in the lobby you want to default to and leave it (it doesn't have to start I think) that works too

switch to main lobby on your alt and log out, then log back in (through your main obviously) and switch to your alt. i'm not sure if that's all that's necessary, report back if it works or doesn't
