- Visits one person every night.
- If somebody tries to kill that person...
- 50% chance the bodyguard will kill the attacker.
- 50% chance the bodyguard will die in place of the target. ____________________________________________________________________
I played a game the other day and as the bodyguard I killed two mafia members cause I went on the clear two nights in a row. And we won without doing any scumhunting. And this is why I personally think setups with BG shouldn't be allowed to be comp'd. The outcome of the game isn't decided by humans' actions but the number generator that's working in the background. This needs to get fixed.
My suggestion for this is to give a 'Kill or Sacrifice' option to BG on night one. Bodyguard can decide whether they want to kill any possible attackers on the target or sacrifice themself protecting their target. The next night bodyguard's action will be opposite of what they chose on the previous night and this applies for the rest of the game.
This way we can eliminate the factor of chance from BG setups and BG can wifom to fool mafia also BG actions are predictable and considered to be a part of the mechs.
