I am turning 18 this July and I was recommended to make a surgery (deviation of septum). Well I might be silly and childish but my nose is "hawk-nose" I think that's the english way of saying having an aquiline nose (i hope you got it) but I wanted to repair my nose I want a linear/straight one I dunno just the normal type. (I am a guy though and I know it sounds weird) but I feel like my nose is unaesthetic.
If you're already having surgery on your nose, you may as well have it done if it'll make you feel better about yourself and more confident. F-word what the haters say.
Also, make sure your doc is willing to do it. Not all are.

i'm pretty sure that surgery for a deviated septum doesn't actually change how your nose looks. it would probably be worth it if you have issues in breathing though

What peach said is kinda true, there are probably better people you could be asking for advice, unless you were looking for objectivity. Anyway, my advice is to do what you feel will make you happy; there's no point in skipping on the procedure because you want "to embrace your uniqueness" only to continue hating the way you look for who knows how long. Think long and hard about it and make sure to ask family and friends for advice as well.

have you tried running into another fence to correct it? kinda like mel gibson getting electrocuted again at the end of "what women want"
Nothing at all. No one ever made fun of me it's barely noticeable but I just don't like my nose. It's not that big nor that "hawked" but I want a straight one, I had it the way I liked before I ran into a fence in primary school
u can never go wrong with the advice of a bunch of lonely 20-something yr old manchildren who enjoy slamming their faces and testes onto their keyboards in perfect unison
4 the record i think hawk noses are pretty aesthetically pleasing, but do whatever's gonna make U happy
I've never met anyone with a nose ugly enough to change.

It's gonna take a whole lot for you to justify getting plastic surgery, have you been made fun of a lot in the past because of it? Does it shoot down your self-esteem to rock bottom every minute of every day?
When you're a teenager, you'll do anything to fit in. When you're in your 30's or 40's, you'll do anything to stand out. Be proud of who you are. Embrace your peculiarities!
