That's because being a good poster is synonymous with intelligence and charisma which are of course desirable traits so if you get called a bad poster you feel like poop and us human beings crave that validation from our peers so when we are called a good poster or get many thumbs up we feel better about ourselves so for that reason people will put effort into their posts in order to gain this validation and bad posters will crumble into the dust cos they are pathetic people lol
