I've been getting n1'd move often lately. In my breaks in between, whenever it's my first game back, i get n1'd about 90% of the time. This includes setups I'm testing out. Example is PtPPV or PAU (check my last round games)
Fear killing is logical. You want to eliminate the player most likely to pose a threat to you.
On N1, how do you do that? You don't have any PR reads. There is no algorithm which will tell you who rolled PR.
You have only three choices: random kill someone, which is the least optimal; fear-kill someone, which means you remove a dangerous player; or kill someone to prove a meta about another player, which never works, because no one is stupid enough to believe it.
Fear killing is both the logical and the optimal option for N1. The only time you shouldn't do it is if there is a protective role.

i join games to have fun, and part of that is having good players in the game.
