oh
uhh if you're wetzel then it's harder for me to give a definite since i barely know you and i only know of you via proxy (calvin, the few posts you make, etc.). i think you'd be goodish because you seem somewhat objective even in situations involving friends and such and you also seem like you're able to take criticism well? again, this is sort of a shaky approximation because i don't know you.
also dave you'd be a good mod we need mods like you because you'd take it too seriously and you're one of the few people ic ould sincerely say that about, whereas most problems with mods come from peopl enot taking it seriously enough. so yeah.

oh boy, let me get my big girl pants on
i'm pretending there's a universe where cakerz didn't happen for the purpose of this post.
you likely have a very, very skewed idea of what modding is and how it's like because of matt and potentially calvin (i don't know how close of friends you were with him but he would talk about you occasionally iirc). because of this, the mundanity of modding along with the tediousness that accompanies it at times would probably put you off. you'd probably have a good first week or so going through your ellen degeneres coming out of the closet party as a mod. but the novelty would wear off, you'd get disillusioned quick, and not like the burden that's put on you as a mod along with the negative feedback that you'd received from people like sachy and me.
