ironically i would say that the EM survey doesn't take into account a lot of things long-time-vets consider such as: top of the list
Question 3 doesnt take into account that I d1 insta vote a no avi for rxns from both the no avi and town rather than any determination of skill or experience.

please tell me what the point of ur survey is. are u trying to prove something, or just present an utterly random assortment of social mechanics?
Oh wow, yeah I just read through the survey again and this thing is pretty biased. Particularly the noavi question. Except the weird thing is I would pick No.
Hi itg321,
Thank you for the feedback and advice. You make a really good point about more experienced players being the ones who will respond to this survey. Personally I don't mind this though as it does mean that the players being surveyed are more likely to have a good understanding of the website and arguably more valuable feedback (though I will mention this when I present my results, particularly if the first question shows a lack of experienced players). As for the second point about my questions being leading. I agree that it would be much better to have open-ended questions where people can think of their own answers, and I considered this, but I was afraid that this might dissuade people from responding to the survey at all and I'd prefer to get as many responses as possible. As far as in-depth opinions go, I am conducting a few interviews in addition to the surveys, which are meant as more of a broad summary of the community's opinions. Lastly, the reason why I didn't go for a simple Yes/No answer for most the questions was because I am usually more interested in the basic intention behind the answer. The way the survey is is kind of my way of compromising between open-ended answers and Yes/No responses. You are right that it is a bit leading and my bias might be showing through, but this isn't the only way I'm collecting data for my research.
But thanks for the feedback. You're definitely right, the surveys are pretty far from perfect.
Also that wall of text was way longer than I thought it would be.

i agree with itg321 that the results are pretty much going to be completely inaccurate, same as the thinking vs feeling section of mbti. that said however, this is dumb lol. what exactly is ur point with this thing op?
if u want a a good mark id recommend redesigning ur survey because it's results atm will be very hard to credit because the survey is badly designed and steers responses a certain way because of bias
what i meant was ask random people on epicmafia.com. posting here will lead to more likely (experienced) players answering the survey, which skews the results a certain way

yeah go ask random people on the street what they think about online mafia games, it's only fair
Oh and the survey responses are very leading. either make the responses yes/no and closed-ended or make them open responses which u can analyse
your data will be prone to sampling error because the people likely to answer the survey on a mafia website will have some vested interest in the game/be relatively experienced
use random over non-random sampling if u have the time for better results.
nvm, that's about multiple games
