It's that time ladies and gentlemen, the 2015 NBA playoffs!!!!!!

This is going to be one of the best playoffs in NBA history

Here's my predictions for these playoffs.

It's literally been the hardest playoffs to pick, i don't know if Toronto will beat Atlanta but I know no matter what as long as Cleveland beats Chicago they're making it out of the east. The West is a lot harder to pick mostly every series with San Antonio took me 3 minutes of running scenarios and match ups in my head. They could literally be eliminated in the first round against the Clippers or run and take it all if they make it out of the west, against the in-experienced Cavalries.

Who I want to win it all:

Who wins it all?
20
Golden State
9
Chicago Bulls (just for justrec)
5
Cleveland Cavs
5
Houston
3
Toronto 6ix SIDE!!
3
San Antonio
3
ATL Hawks

I can't believe I forgot about the game, however a Cali victory is only second to a Texas victory so I'm happy.

Yep, up by 11, and outscoring Cavs every fourth quarter. Plus, 57-0 when leading by 15 at least once.
So does Curry or Iggy win Finals MVP?

Wait...Steve Kerr did improve the team. Jackson was a great coach and I don't think he should've gotten canned; but you can't argue that Kerr put in a much more fluid small-ball based system. Lot more multi-screen sets w. dribble handoffs and cutting.

yeah, this is true their offence and their defence really did improve this season, i think i'm just upset that they fired mark jackson for no reason & letting that cloud my judgement

While Kerr didn't turn Curry and Green into the players they are by himself, he certainly helped them get to the next level. Actually, if not for Lee's injury and Kerr eventually trusting Green to handle the starting spot even after the former came back, we wouldn't be talking about him

Oh my god please don't say Kerr turned Green and Curry into the players they are. That is right there. Kerr, mostly through hiring Alvin Gentry, improved the team by running better offensive schemes.

This is essentially the same team as last year, but Kerr turned it from a 6th seed to one of the best, if not THE BEST, teams in the NBA. He was able to help turn Steph into a MVP, and Draymond Green into a DPOY candidate. If Mark Jackson were still the coach of GS, I am pretty sure they wouldn't have made it to the Finals.

Kerr was the one who made the adjustment against Memphis that saved their season. Kerr was the one who helped the Warriors made that stunning 20 point comeback against NO. Kerr was the one(okay, it was another guy, but Kerr agreed, AND gave credit to that guy) to bench a struggling Bogut and start Iggy, which is the reason they are up 3-2 rather than down 2-3 or even already lost. While Kerr wouldn't be here if not for Jackson, Jackson wouldn't have made the finals.

you've clearly never seen a mark jackson huddle. They started improving progressively while under Mark Jackson. Steph Curry only played last season completely with Mark, and the season before they still went 47-35. If you want to continue to believe that Steve Kerr is a more motivational coach than mark I'm just not going to continue this conversation because you're insane lol

While Mark Jackson made the Warriors a playoff contender, you would never have bet they would won the NBA Championship. They had also lost a heartbreaking series to their arch-rival the LA Clippers. Jackson probably would have eventually taken the Warriors to the Finals, but it likely would have taken 5 years or so. The Warriors wanted results now, so they decided to play a risky gamble. It eventually paid off. Kerr is a very motivational coach who also improvises when in trouble. As good as Jackson was, he never really had those traits.

The head coach argument can be used for Cleveland because they were bad before dvid blatt and lebron, golden state fired Mark Jackson, one of the best coaches in the league for reasons I won't ring up on the forums because white people won't wanna hear it (race). GSW is a successful as they are now because of what Mark Jackson did Steve Kerr is just getting all the credit and that's one of the main reasons I wanted lebron to win, because Mark Jackson got thrown under the bus after bringing their franchise to life. Go look at their record in the 2010 and 2011 seasons prior to mark Jackson

I agree with Devante. There has even been talk of giving James Finals MVP even if he loses. His second and third player are out. The Cavs should have lost in 5 if not for 2 legendary performances by James in Games 2 and 3, and also in Games 1 and 5, albeit losing ones.
The rookie head coach argument is a very weak one. GS has a rookie head coach as well. But all of your other points are accurate.

do you guys remember when Lebron was all "man i'm so good i deserve a ring", so he abandoned his team and went to the Heat and Cleveland burned all Lebron gear b/c f that guy, and then he got two there, but they also had all these other awesome dudes, so he couldn't take full credit, and then he was all "man, I'm so good I'll go win a ring back at the Cavs", and he went back AND NOW HE'S 3-2 DOWN IN FINALS LOOOOOL

Him losing this finals doesn't prove anything, reasons: 1. His stats are incredible in these finals averaging 40 points & nearly a TD. 2. He has a team full of scrubs and throwaway players with only 2 who have scored 20+ points in a game 3) rookie head coach, team isn't even in breathing distance as deep as GS. Also u should probably think why u dislike someone and why lebron really left Cleveland, the internet is your library use it
