This site is... kinda bad. I have spent a long time on this site and it has not seen one bit of improvement. The player base sucks, there are numerous glitches that the administrator is not around to solve, and it is overall becoming a negative experience for me.
I have seen a ton of my friends quit the site over the last few months. The most important of them was appleofmyeye. And while I still have a lot of friends here, knowing nicole would be with me made me come back happily. Knowing she is gone leaves a void in this site that cannot be filled.
I have been beginning a lot of IRL stuff, such as joining the golf team at my high school, and many other cool things that are picking up and I just do not have the same kind of time as before. This is why I am considering taking some time off of the site. And I will. I will be back within a month I am sure. I have a bunch of you on Skype and stuff, so we can still connect there.
TL;DR: This site is becoming cancer so I am leaving. Bye

When you're struggling to get reports done; taking moderators off of report duty is a really dumb way to solve the problem.
Cause from what i see, nothings changed except the number of the mods, like the overall nature of the site and the gameplay community hasnt changed, maybe theres small issues, but who cares about those
like mod leaking/mod sharing stuff always happened, i just don't think people cared as much back then
It was a bad system because it took people away from doing reports and put them on appeal and forum duty or something

is the reason we have this many mods now because the sites way bigger because wasnt there only like 8 or something in the solastor days
The reports system didn't exist back then, and the old report thread thing had a lot less reports. Though even since the report system came in, there have been significant rises til it peaked at 1500 per week and I introduced those draconian rules that cut it to 650.
why not just have a select few mods do [specific job], others do [specific job] and then the report rookies
there was an old system that sorta did around the time bumpers was mod if i recall, where people got sectioned into dealing with certain issues that they felt they excelled in
it could possibly work again
do this
while youre at it, make me mod

is the 2 IP rule even followed anymore because i feel im the only one who still does that because there really shouldnt be 30 something reports in progress
Hima is too busy asking for spare change to moderate properly

the saddest part about this thread and any other thread is that none of these arguments will matter and things will stay the same stagnant way it has been for the past months

im sure im just missing the britishness of this post but im dying laughing at the idea of hima being bad at her job because she lives in a cardboard box under the train tracks or something
I meant already a poor moderator, but I do hate the working class.

The problem with no quotas is that the actually motivated mods then do more reports to make up for those who are being lazy rather than leaving reports open, then they get burnt out because theyr'e doing too many, then they leave and you're left with the lazy mods who don't up their game, ever.
this was honestly the problem when pm did like 200 reports and i feel like that's what led hima to become the hima she is today.
Hima was a mod for like 2 months before PM, and already lazy and poor.

Whether you'll be a mod or not is decided at birth

the application is not worth anything and most decisions made are based on your background and how well people feel you would mesh with the team and by mesh i mean being liked enough to circlejerk in the mod chat
oh i'm screwed then huh?

Well Sonrio, when the mods don't do their current [specific job] (reports), why do you think they're suddenly going to do a different [specific job]?
