i think it's kinda weird how the word switched from just being a descriptor to suddenly being super offensive but that's what happened and people should probably just be respectful and let this go.

i'm just gonna say that, even tho i use the word like all the time, i'm aware that it's wrong and i shouldn't be using it, and there's really no need to make anyone else feel worse about their situation, to make them feel hopeless for some deficit, but it's just that i'm so much smarter than you all and it's really frustrating sometimes.....it feels like i'm the victim here

i guess....it depends on the situation?? lots of people here seem to say it automatically instead of other words because they connect the word to stupidity.

its not a very nice word, and its especially offensive when the name is used for an actual condition. im voting yes
