I say "that's r" all the time irl and online, never had any problem so far with anyone being offended by it (not that that would make it better though I'm just saying). I feel like there's a huge difference between using a word out of habit/exaggeration than using it to legitimately offend someone. I think hateful comments should be more about the comments actually being... Hateful so to speak.
I hate debates about whether or not x word is objectively evil or whatever. If someone is being harassed via these words it's another thing of course. I wouldn't say someone that doesn't use the r word is any better morally than someone that does in the same way I censor my words not because I think others that swear are doing something bad but just because it's a good habit to keep rather than letting profanity slip in awkward situations.
But then again I wouldn't have even censored the word, so my opinion is really invalid here. Adsense already screwed things up and if mods are moderating IC that intensely might as well
