No fearkills. As a mafia I usually try to N1 the people with the best win ratios and try to keep noavis alive. It's good strategy, but stats shouldn't be a factor when choosing who to lynch.
No grudge killing. It's against the rules, but you can't lynch somebody you dislike if you don't know who they are. No bias towards certain players who you know.
No personality-tests. What I mean by this is that, on many occasions, I've heard people saying that someone is 'acting out of character.' Simply put, your personal knowledge (or knowledge you fake) of someone shouldn't be a factor in deciding if someone is scum or not. This is especially an issue in Guiser games.
Minimizes the taboo of 'hostkilling'. Some people try to avoid it and some people do it on purpose, and both approaches are stupid. Can't hostkill if you don't know who the host is.
More even item distribution. Not, LETS ALL GIVE GUNS TO THE GUY WE REALLY LIKE.
I'm aware some decks (such as Shrek / Current Singers) encourage BS lynches (ie KILL JUSTIN BIEBER). Obviously 'serious business' decks IE colors would have to be used.
An new ranked anon type of hearts could be added, with a new pie. The only issue is that it will split players even more

@Grannie
The point is that with anon decks everybody has a fair chance to play.
And most of the time when I play with guisers I have no idea who any of the players are or what they look like. You learn what people act like -in-game- and that's what it should be like. The point is that when you have people in a guiser game who know eachother it becomes much easier to find the guiser.
The point is that being host makes some people regard you differently.
@Devante
And what exactly is so stupid about wanting to have fairer games? Regardless of whether or not it's officially implemented such a discussion could raise the value of anon decks in some people's eyes and is worth having.
Saying 'shut up' is not a valid argument, BTW.

The thing I love about this is that this has been suggested a plethora of times by numerous morons. It won't happen just shut up.
And btw: >mafia to specifically keep skilled players dead and noavis alive yeah it's called strategy, they kill who they think is best to kill
>obvious disguisers as opposed to making it impossible to find a guiser and taking all the fun out of it for the guiser
>doesn't allow bias based on whether somebody's a host who cares it's still up to maf who they kill, they can hostkill and then meta-clear themselves if they want.
Anon in EM is flawed. It doesn't hide the people in pregame. Therefore the optimal play is just to say who you are so people can read you easier and if someone actually CCs then the game becomes even easier.
If you had no way of checking who was on the table, then anon would be better, but really anon right now is just guessing who's who. Hardly anonymous, and therefore with people playing completely seriously, would be more of a waste.
Otherwise, anon would be the ideal in competitive games. Everyone has the same level of meta on each other (zero) and have to instead develop their judgements of people during the game only (as in, determine who the risk takers are based on their actions in game, etc). Would be the most fair, along with a round tab that can only be seen by moderators (and otherwise just says the points the players have and not their names). I agree with that much. However, EM anon just doesn't work for this. People will more often just troll the heck out of the anonymous decks
i don't think there's any sense in forcing people to play anon ranked. you can host your own tables

Even with that, non-anon games allow for a. mafia to specifically keep skilled players dead and noavis alive, b. obvious disguisers, and c. doesn't allow bias based on whether somebody's a host.
Plus, some people, such as myself, act pretty obvious when we're town / mafia. For example, when I'm town I nearly always try to lead. I admit to being a pretty bad mafia, and anyone who knows me can tell when I'm town. This is bad enough, but non-anon games also limit the ability to act outside of your established norms. IE, if somebody knows your established patterns, rather than having to act like a convincing *TOWN* you have to act like a convincing *YOU.*
