the c stick is worth it imo. it makes games that use it much better. same w/ ZL ZR buttons
it has a faster processor and one (1) exclusive game for it. it's also shinier. : )

i think the new 3ds xl is only like $25 more expensive than the regular 3ds xl and it's better. you're better off with the new 3ds
