They are both probably flawed, I just don't see why we would discredit them based on a comment by one voter.

Grammys are the best achievement for music, oscars are best achievement for movies, both are pretty important.

In my opinion, one dude that votes in the academy awards doesn't make any difference. There are about 7 thousand voters in the oscars, all composed of producers, directors, writers, etc in the industry. They come from all over. Pretty sure there are more racists in that group.

They are on par with the Grammys at this point.
