As a new player, I speak on behalf of all the other new players when I say: if you're going off-topic in a game, I feel like I'm being singled out by a bunch of pals - buddies, even.
You can have conversation without isolating the rest of the table and making them feel like they're intruding on something they're not meant to be a part of.

Actually this is the definition of circle-jerking haha
There's a difference between banter and conversation amongst friends and chatting which turns the game into an unrelatable, circlejerk that not only isolates most newer players but makes them dislike coming into gold hearts.
this is by no means a big issue, but it's annoying when I notice flirting on epicmafia because in most cases I only notice when more then 80% of the players massages are just them flirting with their bae
