Nah, Washington only has rain at worst. There is never snow and the summers are usually in the 80s with relatively low humidity at that. Didn't say I liked the columbia river either, I was just giving a lame fact on the separation between WA and OR.

Also, yes, of course Washington won't have the best skiing. Areas with mostly mountains like Utah and Colorado will always be some of the best areas to ski.

Apostasy, Washington/Oregon have the Cascade mountains. The mountains seperate the west and east side of them. The west is what you know mostly as Seattle, Portland, and all the rain. The eastern side of Washington is similar to Colorado with mountains, snow, and all that stuff.

However, the thing that separates the states isn't the mountains, but the Columbia river.

I would argue that the skiing in Washington is definitely lamer than the skiing where I am which is top 3 resorts in the nation, which is what I meant by mountains. Why do you like the Columbia river? I love the ocean but if I were going to live somewhere with an ocean I'd probably transfer to Virginia Beach. Washington has nasty weather too often.

i dislike northern california because it's got stupid cities like yreka. oregon's enjoyable though.

Reno is a pretty nice big small city. It was nice driving there from SW Washington and seeing a lot of No Cal on the way.

I think its actually not a bad place to live. Cost of living is lower than average also if I remember correctly.

Some of my best friends are from Parump, Nevada which is near Vegas I am told and they make it sound like it was hell except full of meth

It is Colorado, and Washington rains all of the time and does not have mountains. Also the system for the legalization of marijuana in Washington is totally broken. Here I just have to get someone who is 21 to buy it from the store for me. The only thing Washington has over Colorado is deep sea fishing and surfing

like skiing, the marijuana is legal, It's beautiful in the summer, I get in state tuition here, and I'm relatively accustomed to cold weather as long as it isn't also humid

Sounds like Colorado. Unfortunately, Washington is better in most regards.

Why would you ever live in a place with such extremes of weather
