How to open sketchy hidden link messages correctly:

1 - Open Google Chrome

2 - Go to the settings menu

3 - Show advanced settings

4 - Privacy -> Content Settings

5 - Click "do not show images" and press done

6 - Open sketchy PM

7 - Expand properties

8 - Check to see if there is an image link in the message object

9 - win
