So earlier today I posted a joke topic about a mod dream team. The purpose of the post was to to show some former mods that they did a fine job and I respected them for it (bronto, slow, rutab, arc) and to show some current mods that they are also doing a fine job and I respect them as well. Another point was to show that alternatives to the current mods (outspoken forum heavy intellectuals and the general em user base) aren't quite as appealing as some anti-mod forum pundits would like them to be.
However the more I thought about a joke I made in that post, the more it just seemed right. I'm talking about my friend Paul.
Paul is a pretty cool guy, he is good at skiing, has played the drums in at least one jazz fusion band, and he used to grow weed in his room while we were in high school (his mom found it pretty much right after it sprouted and threw it out, but it was a worthy attempt). Beyond all that, he's just an all around nice dude.
Now, you're probably wondering why a random friend of mine should be admin and you also probably have a few questions about his qualifications.
Does he know of this site?
- Well yes he does, another friend of mine and I got him to play about 4 years back (fk I'm old) and he was pretty bad and didn't really understand what to do.
Would he care at all about the community of em?
- To be quite honest, probably not, but he would certainly act like he did)
Does he at least know how to play classic mafia?
- Yeah I'm pretty sure!
