In this (hopefully ongoing) series, please feel free to nominate a player and link the game for reference. @MichaelJadson Do you type like that naturally, or do you make a conscious effort to sound as stupid as you possibly can? I'm just curious. If this is the official language of a country I am not aware of, I sincerely apologize.
Tbh it kinda makes sense, everyfin people say in mafia games are to try to help them fulfil dere victory conditions. If dey fink insulting the other players is gonna help then win, then let them, dere's a clear motive in place.
Outside a game tho, dere's realli not much of a motive to randomly off other member of the community, especially if dey happn to play on the same side in future games and/or are invested in the community enuff that they value bein on good terms with most people. Hence the discrepanci in behaviour.
I rarely if ever insult players in my games, this extends to all games I play. I'm not denying occasionally get mad or insult people since a certain level of personal investment is involved, however you'll generally experience more wins in team games by cutting out needless negativity. Often times when a player does something bad or preforms poorly they are aware of it and already feel bad. Other times insults or negativity can bring people down and actually cause them to preform worse.

Wasn't much your reasoning as it was their interaction that made it seem they were partners, Like I read your d1 and It was pretty townie. Also I was trying to figure out why Sidekick had scumread giga throughout d1 and d2 and her statement where she thought Zeus was trying to convince you that Sidekick was scum made me think you both weren't partners. I overthunk bc playing more than 2-3 games of mafia in a sitting makes you lose games im gay
