The Situation
Since I cannot get a reason why my setups were exactly blacklisted I am posting this petition. I created 3 setups in order to test them subsequently if the problems with the previous setups could not be rectified. Instead of blacking listing just one of the setups that was above 100 plays all three were blacklisted without explanation.
I should note that I worked really hard to even create this setup. Literally, going through about 20 setups trying to perfect it.
This is NOT a "mods are crap" forum. So I do not want to hear garbage about mods in the posts. That solves nothing here.
The Solution
I want 1.) Mods to tell me what setups they can accept from the three setups as there are 9 different setups total. 2.) If they cannot accept ANY of the 9 setups why? 3.) The same advice from the community.
I am asking for these three things cause I am tired of making the setup over and over again. I just want something that can be played and ranked. If I can make a Gun Run that just has 2 of the setups that work in it great! Then I feel like I have helped the community. That is my goal
Invalid Reasons for Blacklisting Gun Run III
*If the reason is because Mafia should not kill n1. That is invalid. FT3 has the same problem with Vig killing N1 and people are usually mature enough not to kill n1 as Vig. (Yes, Mafia can kill night 1 in these setups, it is not optimal, BUT with the Vig in FT3 it can be done in Mafia's favor with the same exact statistics that FT3 carries when the Vig shoots N1, if you do NOT include the Hooker factor.)
*If it is due to the % of Gun Run I, It should be noted that 41% - 50% is not that bad and Gun Run III should be able to fix that to make it balanced.
*If it is due to LZCop, this might be one of the only setups that will ever be able to host LZCop ranked. If LZCop can never be hosted in ranked games then, why is LZCop even permitted into the lobby?
*Gun Run III has NONE of the glitches that Gun Run I has.
*I completely agree with Blacklisting Gun Run I. But not the other two without testing them first.
*Another problem is that the way things are setup here, we cannot get validated tests without the game being ranked in the Main Lobby.
The Community Deserves Blacklisting Standards
I've heard several complaints from players over the past year who work hard to try to bring new and exciting setups into EM just to be shot down. For those of us who are making setups for YOUR enjoyment, can we have the Blacklisting standards in writing? Can I propose that they be this. 1.) 110 plays where the game must be within the 45%-55% range w/o 3rd party. 43%-57% w/3rd party. 2.) The mod who blacklists gives a courteous reason to the maker of the setup so they can try to make changes. 3.) That mods do not just blanket blacklist setups cause one variation is bad. If the mod has explained the first problem with the setup and it carries to all setups that makes sense.
Here is a list of the 3 Gun Run setups in question.
