I'd like to buy a high-end keyboard for my planned high-end computer with macros and whatnot. Typically knows as a "Gameing" Keyboard.

Please assist me in my endeavors.

if a new mouse's mouse wheel doesn't feel precisely the same as this mouse i don't think i'd be able to use it

Well I don't have one myself... but it's just that keyboards aren't typically built around gaming, so if you're primarily using yours for gaming it makes sense to have a gaming keyboard.

Most rpg's you can maintain with just the 1-10 keys, mobas just require 4 buttons, and all fps's just need the wasd keys. Why pay more for glowing lights?

You're talking minimum requirements. Gaming keyboards are not the minimum requirements for any games, yes. But they're there, and they can make things better. Whether it's worth the $ or not is up to the individual.

Also I'm pretty sure it's usually about the programmable buttons and button positioning as opposed to glowy lights. Pretty sure.

I personally use Razer Arctosa, its pretty damn cheap and pretty damn good at what it does

What games? Also this got me thinking about what a keyboard specifically designed for playing mafia would be like. It would have LCD display vote buttons, a quick-kick button, a bunch of macros for pre-set messages (copy/paste CC) page back and forth buttons, perhaps a red glow when someone votes you. And of course a report button.
