What does "You are on fire!" mean?

On the main page under my player stats I see a fire symbol with the number 5 next to it. The above message appears when you hover over it. I haven't been doing well today so i can't mean I'm winning, haha.

Maybe it's reversed, it shows you're on fire when you're on a losing streak ;-)
