Instead of changing the way bombs worked just make a role called tracer bomb that randomizes which mafia dies first. That way we can keep the old bombs in old setups we like.
The extra ml possibility with the extra bomb body makes it more townsided than it needs to be. Like a whole extra lynch for town, townsided. Cause 4 way in this scenario = 2 lynches.
ok so B B B LZC GS CONSIG & SPY. CONSIG cced LZC and got him lynched ... but GS is in hiding, so in order to just get a night kill and not give the town an extra lynch since it is not optimal for SPY to kill anymore; CONSIG needs to vote first. Otherwise, they lynch CONSIG the next day and cause mafia NKED town now has two to three ML's. If they decide to kill and it is a randomized explosion ... if SPY explodes it is autowin since CONSIG is now the cc lynch. [You are all like, English the f**k pls?]
My best guess as to the reason is as follows: the mechanic was sometimes causing people to "gamethrow" by voting in the wrong order, so lucid decided to take it out to save everybody some tears.
