Third parties are where it's at, everyone who doesnt like them comped is just MAD

SK vs Mafia is a good example of a comp worthy setup. It's pretty vanilla. Third parties are a bit OP but they're also at a severe disadvantage because you can only think for yourself, you have no partners at all. Of course some people will take solo wins if its killer but it's competitive(like you said) and people will go after more points. But it's been allowed plenty of times before. It's just that comping ONE third party setup will be discouraged because of people only being able to run on it(just like A&D) so instead of doing that, having a third party round would be easier.
