We pull strands from the web of life, jump up and down on it, and expect it to hold our ever-increasing weight. Few notice there’s no safety net.

because we're stupid not suicidal

most people admit to knowing their actions are detrimental for the planet, but continue to do them anyway.

Humanity is not suicidal

then why are we acting in our own self interest (which will inevitably lead to our extinction) and not the interest of the long term sustainability of earth's resources?

if global warming happens then there wont be enough oxygen in the water for the fish and the fish will die then the dolphins will die

not true. phytoplankton + seaweeds create more then 50% of the total oxygen in the atmosphere so i highly doubt oxygen is going to be the problem when it comes to global warming

tbh maybe we need a better, less destructive species beside humans running the planet. I nominate the Dolphins.

if the sea level rises to waterworld proportions then they will be.

Not really. We won't go extinct. This happens in nature over the course of decades over time. We'll reach such a small population we will have too much food for too little amount of people, and we'll slowly grow again.

climate change happened in the past (See: ice age)

which = humanity goes extinct = new organisms arise

i don't think global warming is a real thing. it's just liberals pushing their agenda on to others so they can tax people and stop them believing in god who is the best

climate change is the more aptly named phenomenon, where it gets really hot and evaporates more water during the summer, which creates longer, colder, winters not to mention a huge increase in snow/rain storms in some areas (which is what has been experienced in the past few years especially)
