Everybody who has some sense, please elaborate the rules, so that it can cover all the cases.

It should be done in a manner that does not leave any loopholes.

Just keep adding cases so we can elaborate each rule.

For example, I will add one to the following.

Copied Mechanics

Using a copy/paste or ctrl + z function to copy an in-game system message or night action to attempt to prove alignment (e.g cop report or cop meeting). This includes fake reports, fake copied meetings, and day messages from spy/agent or similar roles. Other players in game may not request details from night meetings to determine alignment. Whispers and Timestamps are NOT included in this rule.

So lets ponder first. _ what do you do when someone types it out and it is not the exact thing? What if he misses a punctuation? Should it be considered a violation?

Once we clarify that with popular opinion we can add it to the rule.

Please raise similar issues so that we can cover all cases in the rules section. So that nothing is left to the memory and precedence.

ill tell you how it was included. a mod's friend c/pd whispers and the mod said that whispers are not game mechanics. so from then on it was followed.


1- a whisper is technically covert

2- but it provides for great wifom if someone chooses to out his whisper as whispers cant be trusted. because one can easily fake whispers

3- the copied mechanics rule was introduced because the players did not know mechanics

4- people can fake those things easily

so the rule is pretty dumb anyways

since whispers do no damage on the reads of people as much as the mechanics do, we can keep whispers out.

if you paste a night meeting thing, then the town automatically thinks you are real. that breaks the game

its like you forged your documents, or you are showing your documents.

if you c/p whispers it means you recorded the whispers.

the important thing is that instead of discussing the implication, we should just keep the rule as it is because it is working fine. we just need to add cases which are not mentioned in the rule so that the moderator do not face confusion while moderating those caes

remember that it will also look like a copied message and it has the same effect on other players in the game.

we need to clarify this because this is treated differently by each moderator for different people.
