my first and only love was found this summer, im 17. we broke up but we are like best friends still because she didnt have time for a full relationship... we still really like each other so we're just waiting until we both have the time. :)
i mean do you have to do something every day to be in a relationship?

I mean successful long term relationships are often not even driven by romantic love, which often fades away totally after you've spent enough time with a person. There's a reason really good old couples seem less like lovers and more like friends.
I don't expect love to last forever. My second post was a joke. I actually don't think people are meant to be committed to each other forever and relationships are meant to run their course, but i don't think i necessarily believe in love when it comes to a partner. I do know i love my parents and that feeling is immutable. And i could love someone like that but platonically whereas my parents have familial love
i have the best name ever <3 <3 <3

I was a bitter 24 year old, "love doesn't exist"/"Women are all liars" type when I got drunk and spent a night staring at my girls eyes, could not look away could not get her out of my head. That was 6 years ago, going strong.
I never understood why people expect love to last forever, the entire nature of reality around you is flux, endless change. Why would you expect any differently of your sensations and feelings?

They aren't 'wrong persons' just because it didn't work out. It was still fun as long as it lasted. Ah, I'm done with this discussion already lol, you have your views i have mine.
