I don't believe in reincarnation, but I'd rather know what I was in my last life. Maybe it'll serve as an inspiration/motivation out of fear for me to get my act together. Knowing who I'll end up as after I die would make me feel like my current life is totally pointless, unless that knowledge is actually of what I could be if I kept doing what I'm doing. Maybe that's why Dharma/Karma exists, I don't really know. Good question!
