hypnotize by system of a down changed what i thought about songs being played live. before it, I never knew that singers could and would change the lyrics for a song just because they were playing it live. but then arab spring happened and soad changed the lyric, "why don't you ask the kids at tiananmen square" to "why don't you ask the kids at tahrir square" it was pretty mind blowing tbh
